The best people I have worked with on production are in a keen state of observation, seeing things that require attention. They care, that care drives them to be responsible and accountable sometimes outside of scope to ensure the production exceeds expectations. The ones that work up a sweat with a smile, these are my ride or die!

I absolutely love building diverse teams, this has only ever been an issue once and the issue wasn't from the diversity it was from a lack of communication. When diverse teams connect and create spaces to share their ideas, you can naturally tap into a world of new learning, ideas, hobbies that can serve as inspiraton for the team.

YOU DO YOU (no really). How you do this is by empowering people with fully clear outcomes and discharge freedom and accountability for them to achieve this in their own way. No more micro managing and no switching goal posts when people are out and about doing their best work, leave the people to be creative and empower them with the ownership of their day.

I have found it helpful to encourage side hustles. When people follow their passion the company benefits from a whole and happy human who is capable of bringing that energy into the company.

Leaders need to walk the talk and show that they can be vulnerable and share fails without repercussion. Create "Fail Fridays" and share your F ups and learnings. Other leaders need to celebrate each others vulnerability and create an environment where EVERYONE is safe to fail, otherwise it backfires and people can use people's mistakes and failures as ammunition which defeats the whole purpose. FAIL FAST FAIL OFTEN!
