About

The ALIVE National Centre for Mental Health Research Translation is funded by a National Health and Medical Research Council Special Initiative in Mental Health. The National Centre is Co-Directed by Professor Victoria Palmer (She/Her, Experience Co-Design Lead) Professor Michelle Banfield (She/Her, Lived-Experience Lead) and Noongar Woman Professor Sandra Eades (OAM, She/Her, Priority Populations Lead). We embody the values of lived-expertise, practice wisdom, being outcomes driven, inclusive, authentic and brave in transforming mental health and wellbeing through primary care and community action. Lived-Experience of the impacts of trauma, mental ill-health, and suicide is embedded at all levels of governance through to research activities.

Our Mission - transforming mental health and well-being through primary care and community action.
