About
With over three decades experience in journalism, I am passionate about covering the news, politics, business, and issues that shape the world through the prism of sport. I host a weekly podcast that explores the stories behind the headlines, and I anchor and report on major sporting events and topics. I am also a Professorial Fellow in Sport at the University of Canberra.
In addition to my academic and media roles, I am actively involved in promoting sport as a tool for social change and empowerment. I am a Director of the Oceania Australia Foundation, a Council Member of Indigenous Football Australia, and a Mentor for the IOC Young Reporters program. I have also received multiple honours and awards for my work, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Australian Sports Commission, and the IOC Women and Sports Award for Oceania. I have developed skills in new media, editorial, and video production, and I have a Masters in Communications and (when time permits) will finish a Masters in Sports Law. I am always eager to learn new things, connect with diverse audiences, and share my insights and perspectives on the global business of sports.
