About

Vince Frost is the Founder, CEO and Executive Creative Director of Frost*collective. He’s also a globally recognised and awarded creative who is passionately committed to designing a better world.  

After becoming the youngest Associate Director at the infamous London design consultancy Pentagram, he started his own studio, Frost* Design in 1994. In 2004, Vince relocated to Sydney where he works with his strategic creative team at Frost*collective together with leading arts and cultural organisations, government, and business to help bring visionary ideas to life.  

Vince is an Executive Committee member of D&AD, a member of IGA (Alliance Graphique Internationale, Switzerland) and Honorary Fellow of ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers, London). In 1996, Vince was awarded Designer of the Year at the Charters Society of Designers, and he has since received numerous creative awards from D&AD, Art Directors Club (New York and Tokyo), The Society of Publication Designers New York and AGDA Australia.  

Vince’s second book, Design Your Life, which looks at how design has the power to positively transform not just business, but our daily lives, was published by Penguin in November 2014. Vince now hosts the popular Design Your Life podcast series discussing this theory with design visionaries and entrepreneurs from across the globe.  

In 2006 Vince was the subject of a retrospective at Sydney Opera House and he continues to be an international ambassador for the design industry, judging and speaking on the value of design and how it can change people’s lives and our world for the better.

Frost’s Design Your Life® book aims to inspire, motivate and lead by example. It features a range of interviews from renowned influencers including Scott Dadich, Editor of Wired, Place User Experience expert Natalie Slessor, trend forecaster and CEO of The Future Laboratory and LS:N Global, Chris Sanderson and David Allen founder of Getting Things Done®. It also reveals some very raw accounts of Frost’s upbringing, including his struggle to beat a hyperactive growth hormone in his adolescence years that saw him battling to walk. It is that very same determination that has led to his present professional position as one of the world’s leading graphic designers, and in turn his recent success in tackling his personal health and wellbeing issues.
