|Experienced. Honest. Authentic. Chris has the skills and knows how to succeed in accomplishing the goals of the people of the 4th District. After spending two decades on Capitol Hill, starting his own business in the private sector, and establishing deep roots in Douglas County, Colorado, Chris understands the needs of Coloradans. Upon graduating from law school, Chris started his career as a public servant in 2005. Through hard work and perseverance, he rose from the lowest position in a Congressional office to the highest position, Chief of Staff, in four years. In that role, he managed every aspect of the Congressman’s work both in the legislature and in Colorado and was instrumental in supporting Colorado's interests, limiting the federal government, and strengthening the nation’s defense on the House Armed Services Committee. Honest in his word and careful in his promises, Chris will make decisions in Congress that match his rhetoric and ideology and that of the citizens of Colorado's 4th Congressional District, for man is nothing without his word.
- Securing the Border and Stopping Illegal Immigration
- Economic Growth, Reducing Inflation, and Creating Jobs
- Improved National Security and Empowering the U.S. Military
I stand for true fiscal conservatism and restoring the correct balance of power between the Federal Government, States, and the American People. I stand for reducing the powers of the Federal Government to the intended role as written in the Constitution. I stand for reducing bureaucracy, taxation, and overregulation of state and federal governments, particularly related to the growing compliance and regulatory burdens placed upon small business owners in Colorado. I stand for Congress fulfilling its primary role to protect American citizens with a secured border and a strong military. I stand for individual rights as bestowed upon the people by the Constitution.
It is imperative that we resolve the border crisis by stopping illegal immigration at the border and deporting those who try to enter our country uninvited. Our economy is doing well for Wall Street but not for Main Street. We need to halt inflation, lower taxes, and create more jobs to ensure that our economy flourishes now and into the future. We must defend our country from enemies, both foreign and domestic. To do so effectively, we must maintain our dominance as the world’s greatest military power and ensure law enforcement entities have the funding they need to perform their jobs.
