Bridging Gaps in Maritime Safety with Practical Training Resources As part of the OCEAN project, The Nautical Institute conducted research to identify gaps in Maritime Education and Training (MET) standards. By examining minimum standards and highlighting examples from organisations demonstrating exceptional safety performance, this research paved the way for significant improvements. The result? Seven free maritime training videos 📹 developed to address these gaps, offering more than just another resource—they are practical tools designed to enhance situational awareness and promote navigation best practices. These videos support mariners, helping them navigate safely and effectively.
