🔎 A glimpse into day one of the #2024ChinaAutoForum taking place in Shanghai 🗣 Today, our Executive Director Stefan Crets took centre stage to contribute to a training organised by the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐬 (#CAAM) as part of the annual Automotive Forum. 🔸 His remarks focused on the 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 and #regulatory 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 in Europe. 💡 How’s the energy transition impacting individuals and businesses in Europe? According to the BNP Paribas Just Transition Observatory 2024, stakeholders are well aware of the challenges ahead, but they now clearly realise that the road will be rockier than expected. In the second issue of 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 – 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, BNP Paribas shares the outcome of a survey conducted with over 10.000 individuals. The report outlines that: 😟 7 in 10 Europeans are anxious about the issue of global warming but the fall in purchasing power is their top concern. 🏦 64% of Europeans believe that the fight against global warming will lead to social inequalities. 💰 33% of Europeans are in favour of wealth redistribution by making the richest contribute more.
