Are you a public buyer or a supplier that is trying to sell innovations to public buyers in Europe? Share your views on how the EU can design new financial products to better de-risk innovation procurement for public buyers. Innovation procurement is underutilised in Europe because often public procurers still find it too risky to undertake innovation procurements with their regular procurement budgets and they face difficulties in using existing financial products (such as standard bank loans) for this. Tell us which hurdles should be overcome so that we can design new/better financial instruments that will make it easier, less risky and more attractive for public buyers to purchase more development and deployment of innovative solutions.
