The Brisbane International Cruise Terminal is an essential component of Queensland's transportation and tourism framework, providing a docking space for the biggest cruise ships globally and contributing to the increase in visitors to South East Queensland. The facility is 'south-east Queensland’s first mega cruise ship terminal and accommodates all cruise vessels, including mega ships longer than 270m, with purpose built base port facilities.' This project involved the construction of a 9,800 sqm two level passenger terminal, elevated walk ways and more, integrating the use of the Equitone, through-coloured fibre cement in Natura and Lines profile. Equitone has used its well-versed façade panels to leave a footprint of environmental awareness, sustainability and efficiency.
