  • 🌱 Many thanks to the many organisations that have submitted their pledges in the last few weeks! Soon those will be checked and published on our webpage! ✨ Today, we put the spotlight on the pledge of initiative of Groupe VYV ✨   Groupe VYV proudly pledged to lead the way in the transition pathway with the launch of their groundbreaking "Mon logement santé" label! 🏡   This label will set a new standard for healthy, desirable, and resilient housing experiences, encompassing a comprehensive set of 40 criteria. To earn this label, homes must meet the 10 mandatory of these criteria and at least 10 of the optional ones.   Looking ahead, their ambitious goal for 2025 is to produce an impressive 5,000 homes annually, with at least half receiving the esteemed "Mon logement santé" label. 💪🏼🌱   What makes this initiative truly remarkable is its fusion of social, health, and environmental concerns, aligning perfectly with our mission to foster positive societal impact. 🌍🤝 📷 Pictures of the first residential building that earned the label #MonLogementSanté, in Amfreville La Mivoie (Normandie, France), produced by the housing company: Le Foyer Stéphanais, member of group VYV. A healthy and welcoming residential building with a nice garden that the tenants look after autonomously: the heart of the social life in the residence. Do you like this inspiring pledge? What does transforming intention into action in social enterprise mean? This was the theme this year at Euclid Network (EN)’s Impact Summit, which brought together around 200 representatives from social enterprises, government organisations, private corporations and impact finance institutions. Laura Kromminga, social innovation coach and consultant, and Martin Avila, CEO of the CEIS Group, told us what the phrase “from intention to action” means to them. #socent #impact #business Images courtesy of Euclid Network

  • 🌱 Calling All Social Economy Actors! 🚀 🔹 Exciting Opportunity Alert! In November 2022, the European Commission launched the Transition Pathway for Proximity and Social Economy, a groundbreaking initiative with 14 actions and 30 specific steps to propel social economy enterprises into a sustainable, digital future. 🌟 Now, it's time for action! 🌟 We're calling on all Social Enterprises, support organizations, networks, financial entities, research institutions, and public authorities across regions to join us in this transformative journey by making a pledge to drive the green and digital transition within the social economy. ✨ Today, we spotlight the exemplary initiative of the pledge "Innovation as enabler for green transition and business development in the social economy"! ✨ The Rediscovery Centre showcased a commitment to lead the way in leveraging innovation for sustainable growth within the social economy. 🌱 Their pledge focused on the launch of a food surplus café, aiming to source unwanted but perfectly good food from local markets and suppliers for the café menu. By developing guidelines for other cafes, particularly those within the social economy, to replicate this model by 2025, this initiative paves the way for widespread impact. Looking ahead, their ambitious goal is to establish the cafe successfully as a viable social enterprise running on food surplus by 2025, contributing to both environmental sustainability and community welfare. 💪🏼🍽️ 📸 In pictures: The Boiler House café food rescue project – “rescued” and fair-trade samples for Fairtrade Fortnight – Homemade Bread with “rescued” basil – Updating the menu – Research Officer Sarah Z weighing surplus food What makes this pledge truly remarkable is its innovative approach, aligning with the mission to foster positive societal impact through sustainable business practices. 🌍🤝 Much like this inspiring pledge, we invite all stakeholders to join us in making a difference! 📢 Spread the word! How do you join the movement? 📢 If you want to join the many stakeholders ready to make a difference, click the link below to view existing pledges and make yours: https://lnkd.in/eZkkMp_D Already, we've gathered 183 pledges, but we're aiming higher! Don't miss out! Pledge deadline: 1st June 2024. Why pledge? 🤔 🔸 Showcase your commitment to sustainability and innovation. 🔸 Forge new partnerships and access capacity-building opportunities.  🔸 Shape policy and contribute to emerging trends in the social economy.
