🤩 𝐔𝐧𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 🇫🇷 Pour la première fois dans l’histoire, les deux Équipes de France de hockey ont participé aux JO. Félicitations aux joueurs, aux joueuses, ainsi qu’à tout le staff de ces deux équipes. 🏑 Pendant ces deux semaines, près de 𝟑𝟎.𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟎 personnes ont été initiées au hockey sur nos terrains à Sports Initiation et au Club France. Merci à la Fédération Internationale de Hockey (FIH) d'avoir mené de front, à nos côtés le Sports Initiation du Stade Yves-du-Manoir. Remerciement aux éducateurs de la Ligue Ile de France de Hockey et des Comités 75 et 78 pour avoir initié tous les curieux du Club France venus en nombre pour découvrir le hockey. 🙌🏼 Merci aux équipes de Paris 2024 pour l'organisation de la plus belle fête du centenaire, à tous les officiels de ces JO ainsi qu'à tous les volontaires engagés à nos côtés sur le site olympique. EuroHockey 5s.. As our Senior and U16 Championships get underway tomorrow in Walcz and Zagreb and U16 Championship II in Kutaisi we wanted to highlight what our hosts in Georgia and Zagreb have said about the importance of these events to the athletes and for hockey in these countries: Event organiser Tornike Tevdoradze (GEO) says the tournament is “a big deal for us” and the growth of the sport in the country. It is another significant milestone to build momentum: “We are trying to develop hockey and a new generation is coming so we are very happy to have the tournament in here and, hopefully, we can get more tournaments in future." Meanwhile in Zagreb, Croatian Hockey’s Slaven Zlatar says "It is an important competition for us. Currently, we don’t have Hockey 5s leagues in the normal season but we now have some Under-16 tournaments so we have played a little bit of it. For me, it can help the new clubs who may not have the possibility to get a big pitch when they are starting out in new areas. This is, in my opinion, the value of it.” In Walcz, at the Senior event, Polish Hockey is putting major resources behind the event with a FREE live stream from both pitches, all games will be live on www.eurohockeytv.org Get behind the nations developing hockey all over Europe, using every resource they have to create competitive, fun events for all those athletes participating this week..
