We're thrilled to share that, with our partners Greenwich Citizens Housing, we have submitted plans for 16 genuinely and permanently #affordablehomes on three sites in Greenwich. 🏡 🏡 🏡 Like our #CitizensHouse homes in Lewisham, these are designed by Archio Ltd – who were appointed by the community and are using community engagement at the heart of the design process. These #communitylandtrust homes are on a cluster of small, tricky sites and show what CLTs can achieve when we have access to land – thank you Royal Borough of Greenwich – with Greater London Authority funding. It again demonstrates that CLTs have a role as an additional source of new affordable homes in London. Getting this far has taken massive sustained effort and campaigning by local residents and our partners. But let's celebrate the momentum! CLTs are increasingly part of local authorities' housing plans and seen as viable partners.
