✨ ENoP project highlight: The 2023 #ENoPForum brought together European political foundations and partners to exchange on how to support and strengthen political parties that are committed to the promotion and defence of liberal, representative democracy, free and fair elections, independent judiciary, free media, and human rights. 💬 Over the course of 2 days, with 32 speakers 🎤 and over 100 participants, the event offered insightful discussions and exchanges, and showcased the important and diverse work of European political foundations. 💡 Political foundations play a crucial role in the process of building a democratic society by promoting political pluralism, the protection of human rights and the rule of law ⚖️, and they are one of the most important types of democratic defenders globally. Thanks to their work around Europe and the rest of the world 🌍, political foundations provide platforms for political education, capacity building, policy-making, international development, foreign aid and mediated political dialogues 💬. In doing so, they play a pivotal role in promoting gender equality as a fundamental principle and condition for democracy. The 𝗘𝗡𝗼𝗣 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 showcases the remarkable work undertaken by ENoP members and their partners in this field.
