🌐 Empowering Voices, Igniting Change! 🔍✨ The groundbreaking i-ACCESS Partners Meeting, hosted by Tdh Hungary in Athens on November 9-10, 2023, illuminated the path for transformative solutions. 🚀 This event is a cornerstone for the Technical Advisory Board, External Ethical Board, and expert organisations like Terre des hommes Regional Hub, Terre des hommes - Romania, Terre des hommes - Hellas / Γη των ανθρώπων, SAPI (Bulgaria), KU Leuven (Belgium), Noldus Information Technology (Netherlands), and Lawren.io - Part of Flowtribe.io (Belgium), focused on pioneering initiatives in e-justice for child victims in the European Union. Participants had the unique opportunity to shed light on enhancing access to information and legal assistance through a revolutionary child-centric AI-driven solution. 🌟 This innovative approach empowers child victims, facilitating their navigation of criminal proceedings, alleviating stress, and promoting equal access irrespective of gender, social, or cultural background. A pivotal moment of the meeting was the discussion around developing an ethical and unbiased chatbot designed to be a powerful ally for children in contact with the law. 🤖 This tool educates them about their rights within criminal procedures and provides practical guidance and information on seeking support and remedies in cases of crime and abuse. 📌 Insight from the Meeting: "Children can express their opinion with this tool." „The tool is not supposed to replace a human being. It should support and transform data into information to the child.” (Cedric, Tdh) „The chatbot is there to help children navigate the complex legal information system”, the legal specialists stated at the conference. "This tool, which allows children to express their opinions, will be precious for rural areas where information is not typically accessible."
