Just wrapped up three days at the 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 in Germany, and wow, what a journey ⚡ ! It's truly remarkable to witness the widespread interest in Data Spaces, a concept that became significant around March 2022 and is still new to many. So, what does it mean ? Well, imagine a world where data stays where it's created but is accessible through secure contracts, enabling peer-to-peer transfers without the need for – again – another central storage hub/platform. 🌐 𝑬𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒆’𝒔 𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏? To foster a data-sharing ecosystem that's built on trust, shifting from a mindset of "𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺" to "𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅." We're talking about a seismic shift in how data across various fields—health, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, mobility, you name it—is accessed and utilized for the greater good. Gaia-X/Catena-X is the perfect example, despite challenges in syncing numerous data sources through standardization and agreements. The Common European Data Spaces will help unleash the enormous potential of data-driven innovation. They will allow data from across the EU to be made available and exchanged in a trustworthy and secure manner.   ❗ And there you have it, the most important word in sharing data is “𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭”. 📣 Thanks Agoria for the incredible mission "𝑼𝒏𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒆𝒃3 𝑹𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑨𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂 𝒕𝒐 𝑴𝒊𝒂𝒎𝒊." 💥 It was an enlightening journey, shared with nearly 60 participants, where we engaged in vibrant discussions on a myriad of topics. We heard amazing stories from Atlanta Tech Village, Nike, Georgia Institute of Technology, Cisco, Magic Leap, IBM , Barco, Meta and many others ... each bringing unique insights and innovations to the table. However, a few highlights truly stood out 🔭: Microsoft's current focus is not on decentralized systems or blockchain but rather on AI, with projects like Copilot looking absolutely fantastic. Visa, on the other hand, is actively exploring opportunities in Blockchain. They shared some incredible examples, including an application where grain is tokenized. Additionally, the presentation by Metaphysic.ai was im-pres-sive!! Recognizing them as the brains behind the AI performance on America's Got Talent, and learning that the founder is from Limburg! (𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘊𝘌𝘖 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 Provincie Limburg (België) 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘥 - 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 😉) This mission made it crystal clear that we are only at the beginning of what's possible in the world of web3.
