In the Restructure randomized control trial, we’re investigating the role of food texture in eating rate and consumption patterns. The trial involves 40 participants, each following two different diets: one that promotes slow eating and one that encourages faster eating, with all food provided ad libitum. 📢 New Publication - What will the future of #microbiome-based biomarkers hold? The #HumanMicrobiomeAction project just published a paper via The Lancet Microbe! Conducted by the Pharmabiotic Research Institute (PRI), a Delphi survey of 93 experts emphasises the potential of microbiome-based biomarkers and the critical need for validated analytical methods and international standards. Céline Druart, Executive Director of the PRI, states, "This paper should serve as a foundation to define future collaborative efforts needed to foster the emergence of microbiome-based biomarkers and promote the application of microbiome science in clinical practice and personalized medicine."
