Welcome to Jordi Lesaffer (ESG analyst) and Geoffrey Masson (data scientist) 🎉 Kris Boudt: "My first collaboration with Jordi Lesaffer was in 2010 when investigating the effect of portfolio screening using Vigeo sustainability scores on financial performance. The conclusion of the empirical analysis (published in Economics Letters) was that the gains in sustainability can be achieved without loss in financial performance when using the minimum tracking error portfolio. I am happy that we collaborate again to make an impact on how controversies, as detected in the news, are assessed and translated to actionable company insights. Given the scale on which we operate (a universe of all company numbers), we need to superpower our ESG analysts with effective data science to do so. I am very happy to announce that Geoffrey Masson joins us full-time to support our R&D team in achieving this."
