The MUSIC Project
Renewable Energy Semiconductor Manufacturing
European initiative developing new, sustainable and more competitive supercapacitor sodium technologies.
About us
Materials for sUstainable Sodium-Ion Capacitors responds to the need for a new supercapacitor technology that reaches energy density comparable to that of power batteries, but still recharges within a few seconds and offers long cycle life with minimum efficiency loss over time. Moreover, the MUSIC Project incorporates a strong policy of sustainability and environmental friendliness. Thus, any use of Critical Raw Materials (CRM) will be avoided for developing the SIC technology and will develop advanced novel carbonaceous electrode materials, binders and green electrolytes that are sustainable by design. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
