On the news today! Collaborative ecosystem efforts are revolutionizing citizen services beyond traditional boundaries. In the pursuit of innovation and improved municipal services, the forward-thinking municipality of Gemeente Aalter embarked on a groundbreaking Smart City exploration. After a pilot project in Aalter, Flanders is now rolling out the digital vault that delivers driving licenses and travel passes day and night. The smart vending machine (Telloport) to collect administrative documents outside opening hours in Aalter will be extended to the rest of Flanders. The Interior Administration Agency will pass on the technical know-how to municipalities that want it. This project is the result of a collaboration between TomorrowLab, Telloport, itsme® and Gemeente Aalter.
