Os colaboradores da TPF Consultores, Eng. Fernando Araújo e Eng. Nelson Lebre do Serviço de Edifícios e Infraestruturas (SEI), estiveram na sede do Grupo TPF de 17 e 27 de junho, no seguimento de um desafio lançado pela equipa do grupo: a colaboração entre as unidades de negócio no desenvolvimento de um projeto em curso para a reabilitação energética do Edifício Ellipse, localizado em Bruxelas. Esta reabilitação tem por objetivo a descarbonização dos edifícios, substituindo caldeiras a gás por bombas de calor elétricas e visa também o cumprimento da certificação ambiental BREEAM Outstanding. Para além das visitas ao Edifício Ellipse e das reuniões de integração na equipa belga que está a desenvolver o projeto, salienta-se a importância da partilha de conhecimentos que houve entre os colegas e a adaptação à realidade de elaboração de projetos de eletricidade na Bélgica. 🇧🇪⚡ --//-- TPF Consultores employees, Eng. Nelson Lebre from the Buildings' Engineering and Architecture Service, were at TPF's headquarters from June 17 to 27, following a challenge set by the group's team: collaboration between the business units in the development of an ongoing project for the energy rehabilitation of the Ellipse Building, located in Brussels. The aim of this refurbishment is to decarbonize the building by replacing gas boilers with electric heat pumps and also to comply with the BREEAM Outstanding environmental certification. TPF Engenharia achieved the Bronze Medal in a new assessment by the EcoVadis classification methodology, which measures the quality of a company's sustainability management system through its commitments, policies, actions, and results. In the 2023 evaluation, we received the Bronze Medal, ranking us among the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the past 12 months. Our score was above the industry average in three of the four areas observed: Environment, Labor Practices and Human Rights, and Ethics. TPF Engenharia stood out in various 'strong points' in the platform's classification, including adherence to the United Nations Global Compact, an environmental policy on energy consumption and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, reduction of material consumption through process optimization, and actions to raise employee awareness on waste separation and reduction.  #Ecovadis #Certification #Brazil #ESG #Sustainability #Environment

En parfaite adéquation avec nos engagements RSE, cette journée a été l'occasion de sensibiliser chacun aux enjeux climatiques et environnementaux. Parmi les activités organisées : 🚮 Dépollution de sites : ramassage de déchets pour un environnement plus propre. 🌿Visite de fermes urbaines et exploitations agricoles durables : découverte de pratiques respectueuses de la planète. ♻️ Visite de centres de tri de déchets : immersion dans le processus de recyclage. 💡Jeux et Escape game climat : défis ludiques et éducatifs autour des enjeux climatiques Ces initiatives ont permis de : ✔️ Renforcer notre esprit d'équipe ✔️ Sensibiliser chacun à notre rôle citoyen et professionnel face aux défis environnementaux ✔️ Rappeler qu'en tant que société d'ingénierie, nous avons le pouvoir d'agir concrètement sur le plan environnemental à travers la conception de projets durables Merci à tous les participants pour leur engagement et leur enthousiasme ! Me uno a las felicitaciones al equipo de Autodesk por la excelente organización del #BIMFRASummit2024, destacando especialmente a Camilo Jiménez Peña y Lara Sánchez, por su valiosa ayuda antes y durante el evento, así como a Diego González Pascual y Javier Casado por resolver nuestras dudas técnicas 😉 Durante el evento, tuve el honor de participar como ponente representando a TPF INGENIERÍA junto a José Ignacio León García y Mario Segura Iglesias en una presentación sobre la aplicación del #IFC43 en el proyecto de la Línea 9 del Metro de Barcelona. Quiero agradecer también al resto del equipo que, aunque no pudo estar presente físicamente, contribuyó de manera significativa para que nuestra presentación fuera un éxito, como Fernando Ibáñez, Roberto Fernandez Villalobos y Jesus Sanz Lopez. Fue una gran oportunidad para compartir nuestros conocimientos y experiencias, además de aprender de otrxs profesionales del sector. TPF’s CEO Thomas Spitaels recently visited some of TPF’s French offices, accompanied by William MEYNARD, Chairman of TPF INGENIERIE. This visit, marked by enriching exchanges, was an opportunity to present the teams’ results and prospects, and to meet their working environment. Additionally, this road-trip allowed to discover some of the emblematic projects our teams have been working on, highlighting TPF's know-how and expertise, particularly in terms of innovation. In Toulouse, Thomas visited to the construction site of the new Cité administrative, a vast 30,000 m² office complex under renovation and construction on the Lemaresquier site; in Sauternes, a visit to the Château d'Yquem estate, where teams from Bordeaux have been working to enhance the site; in Angers, a presentation by local teams of the vast urban renovation project in the Belle-Beille district; and in Reims, a walk on the Promenades Jean-Louis Schneiter, an emblematic development project that has been awarded the Équerre d'Argent prize in 2023. "The Invisible Forest - Stories from the Amazon" is now available on the YouTube channel of Synergia Consultoria Socioambiental. The award-winning documentary is a co-production between Synergia and Dot Films, with support from ICMBio (Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation). It weaves together the stories of struggle and resistance from the people living in the Middle Xingu region who face challenges from mining, logging, livestock and monoculture, to generate income and preserve the Amazon Forest standing. These people share a deep connection with the forest, adapting their lives to contemporary challenges while safeguarding invaluable wisdom for forest conservation and promoting the growth of the bioeconomy. The "Invisible Forest" has been screened at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro and, more recently, on the 7th of June during the 13th Ecofalante Environmental Film Festival at Cine Arte UFF, followed by a Q&A session with film's team.
