Another update from the Innoptus Solar Team, who have now been joined by former team members as well for additional support and knowledge sharing. Strategic planning continues with testing of the Infinite car's energy consumption under different conditions. The team's container has also been fitted with solar panels, connected to a battery, ensuring that the team's camp site can be completely self-sufficient even at night. Things are soon going to get very real for the team as the Sasol Solar Challenge approaches!

Our friends at Innoptus Solar Team are now in full swing with their last preparations for the Sasol Solar Challenge. After a week of testing, they have been applying the last fixes and upgrades to finalise the Infinite car last weekend. The Infinite is primed, shiny and ready! This week is all about strategy, including a few visits to the Gerotek test facilities as well as working on the convoy cars. The Innoptus team in South Africa is now 25 strong, so plenty of helping hands are around for the final rush to the start of the race. #sasolsolarchallenge #SSC24 #teambelgium

The Innoptus Solar Team has now been in South Africa for a bit more than two weeks. They have spent their time preparing for the race: scouting the route, testing the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System ( ✔ 👍 ), testing the Infinite solar cars new features, as well as the improved solar panels. The support team has recently arrived as well and have kitted out and stickered the support vehicles, called Hands, Brain and Eagle. Recently, the Innoptus Solar Team left for South Africa to prepare for the upcoming Sasol Solar Challenge. They are currently hard at work for the race, which will start on 13 September.
