About

Martine Nijs has been working in IVF for over 30 years as a senior clinical embryologist and IVF lab director. She obtained her PhD in Medical Sciences at the Free University of Brussels in Belgium. She was rewarded ESHRE accreditation for Senior clinical embryologist in 2008 , 2012 and 2016.
Martine has managed different laboratories in Belgium and the Netherlands. Her academic contributions include over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, she presented numerous lectures at global conferences. Martine is an associate editor for Human Fertility, serves on the editorial board of ten international journals, and participates actively in different professional societies.
Over the years, her commitment extends to organizing international events and providing hands-on training. She co-founded and directed Embryolab Academy, a training center in Greece. In her current role as Director of Professional Education at CooperSurgical Fertility Solutions, she designs coordinates and delivers professional education and training in the field of ART.
