This project stressed my hard skills in data analysis, specifically:
- quantitative analysis of image and video data
- use of MatLab programming language
- use of Minitab statistical software
- investigation of hidden patterns in unstructured data

An original test on a titanium plate has been accomplished, with the objective of investigating the possibility to obtain a series of aesthetic effects on the sample surface (coloration, polishing, brightening and darkening). With a methodology similar to the ones found in literature – but without the use of sophisticated machines – a model is developed in order to associate each aesthetic result to a set of energetic parameters.
