    I am currently working as CFO and Overall Project Manager for the European Championship of Field Hockey (Trifinance Eurohockey 2013) held in Belgium in August. Together with 2 colleagues, I am steering a team of 80 direct reports leading various functional cells (e. g. SMC, Facility, Production, Finance, Infrastructure, aso) managing a team of 2,000 volunteers (project investment 4M).

    Paul has started up the domestic distribution for key blue chip principals in mainland China for distribution of specialty chemicals by sea, road and inland waterways, and furthermore succeeded in implementing a common ERP system.

    I was involved in a project in which I standardized the energy purchase of 1TWh natural gas and suggested to use alternative energy resources for c 15 large manufacturing plants (float glass, plasterboard, isolation) and number of smaller operations in 2007. The result was the centralization of energy purchasing in a central energy procurement department, restructuring local energy purchasing managers and installing a pan-European supply contract across borders with one supplier ensuring the…

    I was involved in a project in which I standardized the energy purchase of 1TWh natural gas and suggested to use alternative energy resources for c 15 large manufacturing plants (float glass, plasterboard, isolation) and number of smaller operations in 2007. The result was the centralization of energy purchasing in a central energy procurement department, restructuring local energy purchasing managers and installing a pan-European supply contract across borders with one supplier ensuring the physical transport of the energy. This generated important direct savings by adding the consumption profiles of all production sites to one more predictable volume and introducing subject matter experts in the field of energy supply (replacing local often poor quality judgment) and furthermore indirect savings from reduction of headcount.
