    AEOI involves the systematic and periodic transmission of “bulk” taxpayer information by the source country to the residence country concerning various categories of income (e.g. dividends, interest, etc.). The scope of the Fiscalis Project Group FPG/053 "AEOI Statistics" is to develop and implement a software application that will generate statistics for the AEOI within Direct Taxation, required as part of the Member States obligations with respect to Council Directive 2011/16/EU (DAC1) namely Article 23.
