The ITEA project MIRAI (Machine intelligence techniques for smart and sustainable planning and operation of IoT and Edge computing applications) focuses on a distributed artificial intelligence (AI) approach for edge devices. By facilitating edge computing approaches that scale vertically to the cloud and horizontally to other devices, Internet of Things (IoT) applications can be planned and operated more efficiently, securely, and timely.

As the President of IESE Entrepreneurship club, my role is to nurter the entrepreneurship spirit among our MBA peers and the whole IESE community by organising events, workshops and meetings. The main goal is to spread the best techniques to start a business from scratch (lean-startup), to validate assumptions along the road and learn the tools that are available to scale up.

Around 25 students from IESE business schools are coming to Silicon Valley to visit companies, meet with entrepreneurs and network with inspiring people to learn about entrepreneurship, technology and innovation. We are always on the lookout for sponsors, partners and companies to visit and share insights, inspiration and opportunities with each other.

The Venture Capital Investment Competition® began in the middle of the technology bubble in 1998 as an educational event for MBAs to learn about venture funding. Now in its 18th year, through good times and bad in the venture industry, VCIC® has evolved into a marketplace for entrepreneurs seeking investors and a training ground for future venture capitalists. Wazaabi is a project part of the Eclipse Foundation that provides a Model Driven approach to UI development in Eclipse environments and more generally in Java applications. The objective is to provide a declarative way of creating UI based on EMF models.

OneIDE is an enhanced IDE with component oriented tooling. This is based on the Wazaabi Eclipse project, Eclipse RCP and the Software product line engineering concept, in order to create one single environment, gathering most of the requirements of all currently existing IDE's (Graphical Modeler, textual DSL editor, dedicated navigator, property sheet, dialog and wizards, business model storage, validation rules, etc.) but also easily configurable to cope with domain specific constraints and… Show more
