So what happened at FARA this year? Well, thanks for asking. Here goes:
“I wrote you a letter” our first direct collaboration with the General Directorate National Police and “Angels on the Road” was granted:
gold in the Direct category;
silver in the Campaign – Social, Media, Political category.
Yettel.Bulgaria “Future for our history”, our first collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, reached:
2 silvers in the Websites, Mobile Apps and Online Advertising and Positive Change categories;
3 bronze awards in the Illustration, Engagement and Digital Craft categories.
“Bulgarian Grandma Media Group” for Bulgarian Cartrader took home the bronze in Cinematography.
“Call your mom, not a taxi” for TaxiMe got the bronze in Influencer Marketing.
Our “ILUMA Launch Event” for iQOS in collaboration with @dna.bg also got recognized with two bronze awards in Brand Activation and Spatial Design.
And last, but definitely not least, Jameson’s “Create a winter in your own taste”, which we did with the incredible Boris Pramatarov , got the bronze in the Illustration category.
All in all – it must be summer, cause we’re feeling bronzed up and very happy.

So our history can have its future.

We are happy to announce that Vasil Petrakov is once again part of the ФАРА Creative Jury. Vasil has been one of the leading figures in creative advertising during the last decade, helming award-winning projects locally and internationally, both as a creative director and film director. Congrats!
Every year in Bulgaria, hundreds of people die on the road. The exact number is not even that important, because every single death is personal, experienced, regrettable.
Sadly, many traffic offenders are people who have a repeated history of speeding. Many of them believe that everything ends with an electronic slip from the Ministry of the Interior and a single transaction. If we have learned anything from our history, it is that the fine alone, the punishment alone, the payment alone without thughts to follow them, has no lasting effect.
Twelve relatives of people killed on the road gathered the courage to write a letter that their sons, daughters, brothers or grandchildren will never read. Personal and candid. The relatives themselves, in their own handwriting, inserted their letters along with the electronic slips. So drivers who harbor the potential to destroy a family, see what a ruined family really means.
The campaign "I wrote you a letter" is carried out jointly by the association "Angels on the Road" and the General Directorate "National Police" based on the idea of gutsandbrainsddb. We are grateful to everyone who responded – to TaxiMe for the support, to Vladimir Ampov – Grafa for the music, and to the Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio, BG Radio, Darik Radio and the "24 Chasa" media group for the coverage and shoulder.
No one is under the illusion that the reckless driving by repeat offenders will suddenly stop. The hope is that one of the drivers, will think about Philip just before flooring the gas pedal. Or about Angel. Or Hristiana. Or Vasko. Or Maria. Or Constantine. Or Stefan. Or Ivan. Or Alexander. Or Vasil. Or Victoria. And then will slow down.
