What To Expect On This Role

We are seeking for a skilled and experienced Python Technical Lead with experience in card issuing to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about the payments industry, possess a good understanding of card issuing processes, and excel in analyzing and optimizing payment workflows, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

As the Technical Lead specializing in card issuing, you will assume a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting edge payment solutions. Leveraging your wealth of experience and strategic insight, you will intricately design, optimize, and drive the evolution of payment ecosystems, with a specific emphasis on card issuance.

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and systems, with a focus on card issuing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability.
• Define and roll out guidelines for clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Provide strategic guidance on technology selection, system integration, and overall solution design.
• Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance to technical members from your team.
• Establish, guide and lead teams by example in the development of robust, scalable, and secure payment solutions using Python and related technologies.
• Mentor and guide the development team, promoting best practices and ensuring the highest standards of quality.
  
  

Qualifications And Tech Proficiency

• 10+ years in Python
• REST API development
• Async web frameworks: FastAPI, Sanic, Falcon, or Django
• SQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
• ORM: SQLAlchemy
• Experience and proficiency in communicating with clients.
• Experience in payments with a focus on card issuing.
• Understanding of card program management, including issuing, activation, and lifecycle management.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
