Roblox is free to play, with in-game purchases available through its virtual currency called “Robux”. According to Wikipedia, as of August 2020, Roblox had over 164 million monthly active users. Typical avatars look like “Lego” characters, but other styles are available, and avatars can have added clothing layers.
