Do you remember the term #Geospatial? 🤔 Earlier this year, we were in St. Louis discussing and exchanging information about what geospatial is and the challenges it presents. Now, we're bringing these insights to #Apreesid in Argentina to discuss and share further 🙌 We understand the importance of generating networks and collaborating with key sector allies to achieve a unified approach that benefits all major players in the field. That's why we'll be part of two panels: 1. "Impact of Geospatial in Agriculture: Sharing the Vision of Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and St. Louis" 2. "CULTIVAR: Shortening the Learning Curve in Technological Adoption" At #TheYieldLabLatam, we always promote these meetings and believe in their importance because the future is now. We must face challenges collectively and intelligently, united and organized. 💪

TYLL at the largest agribusiness distribution event! The main networking and professional update event for Brazil's agribusiness input distribution sector was held from August 6th to 8th, 2024, in São Paulo, featuring international participants and over 250 exhibiting companies. * Our Managing Partner, Kieran Gartlan, visited the fair and explored the latest innovations! * Terramagna Group and SEEDZ were exhibitors, presenting their solutions to over 13,000 attendees. The Andav Congress is part of the official agribusiness event calendar and is organized by the National Association of Agricultural and Veterinary Input Distributors (Andav). It annually attracts professionals from the input distribution sector, including fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, as well as consulting and various other related services.

The Minas Summit, the largest innovation event in Minas Gerais, took place in Belo Horizonte on June 26 and 27, and we were there! 🙌 Guilherme Paiva, our Portfolio Management Principal, participated in one of the event's standout panels 😎. The panel discussed the #AgTech investment market, the feasibility of creating a unicorn in the agricultural sector, and the criteria for choosing to work with startups. It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas and perspectives on agricultural innovation. Our friend and colleague from The Yield Lab North America Kyle Welborn has just published the Q2 2024 AgTech Venture Capital Investment and Exit Round Up report. Last quarter, our analysis based on Crunchbase data shows 190 AgTech startups raised a total of $1.6B. This represents a 15% increase in funding while the number of deals stayed flat from Q1 2024. Latin America united! 🙌 At a recent event organized by Aapresid we spent a day in the field with one of our investors, along with our colleagues from Chile and Mexico and major stakeholders from the US, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil and México. Argentina leads the Regen AG space through an amazingly high no-tillage adoption and crop rotation intensity. In the particular situation our investor showcased, not only carbon capture is 70% higher, but soil capital has been relentlessly improving since Regen Ag adoption back in 2013: now crop seasons are getting less volatile and more productive while crop protection and nutrition interventions have been flat or even decreased. To improve the agricultural production process, the food chain, and everything related to our sector, it's crucial to experience it firsthand. That's why we believe these gatherings are essential to remind us of the importance of our work. Creating bridges between our clients and the #AgriFoodTech ecosystem is vital for us, as it has so much to teach us. 🌎
