    In 2010 colmeia received from Petrobras a mission to leverage on social media the naming-rights they had acquired for Brazil's Football Premier League. For this task we built a platform for social content centered on a series of web videos about the supporters for all the 20 teams in the league.

    After creating the concept my job was running the daily coordination of the 2 production teams involved: the video crew visiting the team's cities and the social content team based interacting…

    In 2010 colmeia received from Petrobras a mission to leverage on social media the naming-rights they had acquired for Brazil's Football Premier League. For this task we built a platform for social content centered on a series of web videos about the supporters for all the 20 teams in the league.

    After creating the concept my job was running the daily coordination of the 2 production teams involved: the video crew visiting the team's cities and the social content team based interacting witht the audience.

    All videos can be viewed on the YouTube channel for the project, youtube.com/brasileiraopetrobras. A medium-length video with the best content from all teams was featured on ESPN at the end of the season. (see project link)

    During the Fifa 2010 World Cup Google Google saw the opportunity to have the first World Cup truly integrated to YouTube. Problem was, they still had not set a deal with Fifa for the image rights. A partnership was made with ESPN Brazil for the creation of content that did not violate Fifa's rights under YouTube's Palpita Brasil.

    I acted as content consultant, helping ESPN create content that was "social by design", sharable, bringing viewers and engagement to the channel. During the World Cup itself I coordinated the production of original videos where "web celebs" dueled with TV, music and sports celebs on who could guess the results for each round, in a format now broadly available as "YouTube Slams". My team was also responsible for Palpita's social content on Twitter, orkut and Facebook.

    In 2009 colmeia was called by REDE, the digital PR agency for Google, to create the most epic project in the history of social media: the launch of the new version of orkut, the indisputable #1 social site in Brazil at the time. The campaign started with guerrilla-marketing tactics, then viral and finished as the first big videolog in the history of Brazil, with the character Danilo Miedi gathering millions of fans a year before PC Siqueira and Felipe Neto became big.

    In 2008 I arrived at colmeia to be executive producer of enxame, an attempt to create niche, original content in online video format. We got the best content creators in the Brazilian Internet and put them in front of our cameras, generating hundreds of episodes about different subjects.
