Job Summary

The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing and implementing effective and engaging teaching strategies and learning materials for technical and behavioral corporate training. This professional must collaborate with content specialists to create learning solutions that meet the needs of the students and the objectives of the organization. He/she carries out briefing surveys, defines methodologies, draws up and monitors schedules.

Key Activities

  • Acting strongly in the research and experimentation of new technologies and educational methodologies for application in corporate training, carrying out pilots with measurement and analysis of results.
  • Making reports and presentations on the pilots carried out.
  • Creating and developing training materials, including online courses, e-learning, microlearning modules, manuals, study guides, quizzes and other interactive educational resources.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to create content that is pedagogically sound and aligned with learning objectives.
  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify learning gaps and determine educational objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and organize relevant and accurate content.
  • Conduct research and analyze inputs for training development.
  • Design lesson plans, curricula and course structures that meet student needs and organizational objectives.
  • Work closely with content developers, subject matter experts, video editors and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and cohesion of training materials.
  • Execute corporate training projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and according to client requirements.
  • Keeping up to date with trends in corporate training and educational technology, as well as accessibility best practices.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Pedagogy, Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related areas
  • Previous experience in the role - presentation of a portfolio of training cases developed is important.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and teaching techniques.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in education, such as artificial intelligence and adaptive learning.
  • Knowledge of accessible training practices and compliance with accessibility standards will be a plus.
  • Ability to plan and organize, working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.
