Illuminated Mobil Sign
This illuminated Mobil sign is comprised of five individual letters that measure approximately 80” wide and 22” tall altogether. The housings are constructed from plastic, and internal LED fixtures with 120-volt circuitry and a remote control were retrofitted after the seller’s acquisition in 2024. This illuminated Mobil sign is now offered at no reserve in Arlington, Virginia.
The sign comprises five letters constructed from white, blue, and red translucent plastic with opaque back panels. Each letter measures 5” deep, and the entire display is approximately 80” wide by 22” tall. The total weight is estimated at 30 pounds.
Internal LED fixtures were installed in place of the previous neon tubes, and metal and glass support brackets remain attached to the back panels. Wiring terminals on each letter allow them to be connected in series.

A wireless remote has a main power button as well as options for brightness and timer settings.
The sign is wired for 120-volt circuitry with a two-prong US-style wall plug. The power supply can be connected at either end of the display, and a 7′ extension cable is included in the sale.
