As part of this journey, 403LC will be re-launching the AG Podcast this fall, stocking shelves back in my homeland, and accepting invitations to conferences, festivals, and Highland Games.” https://shorturl.at/O3MkG #AuthenticGinger

#PrisonersJusticeDay highlights systemic issues affecting those in correctional facilities. In Ontario, an estimated 41% of people experience severe mental health issue while in custody. Individuals with existing mental health and/or substance issues often worsen, especially in segregation. Correctional healthcare in Ontario falls short of community standards, depriving these individuals of necessary support, as noted in numerous Coroner’s Inquest recommendations. https://lnkd.in/gm2APShR

  • Great wisdom here. Clients know when they are just a number, a paycheque or an acquisition. Client retention beats lead generation every day of the week. Quality over quantity all day. Thanks, NVISION.

Empowering Business Growth with Strategic Digital Marketing | Turning Vision into Results at NVISION

Your business doesn't need more leads. It needs better ones. As a business owner, how many times have you heard the phrase, “We just need more leads”? It’s become a mantra for many, but let’s take a step back and think about this for a moment. Is more always better? In my experience running a digital marketing agency, I’ve seen countless businesses obsessed with the sheer volume of leads. But here’s the hard truth: chasing numbers alone can be a costly mistake. It’s not about how many leads you have; it’s about how many of them actually convert into paying customers. I'll share a quick story with you. We once worked with a client who was fixated on getting thousands of leads every month. They spent a significant amount on ads, promotions, and other lead-generation tactics. But here’s the kicker—despite all those leads, their sales stagnated. Why? because the leads were low-quality and had little interest in what the business truly offered. We pivoted their strategy to focus on attracting higher-quality leads—people who were genuinely interested in their product and more likely to convert. It wasn’t about getting 1,000 new leads a month; it was about getting 100 that mattered. The result? A significant boost in their conversion rates and, ultimately, their revenue. In today’s crowded market, quality beats quantity every time. Instead of generating leads, why not invest in nurturing the ones with real potential? Tailor your messaging, refine your targeting, and focus on delivering value to those who are a perfect fit for your business. So, the next time you hear someone say, “We need more leads,” take a moment to question it. Do you really need more, or do you just need better? Let’s start focusing on what truly moves the needle—building relationships with the right people. After all, wouldn’t you rather have 10 strong prospects than 100 that go nowhere? What’s your take on this? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments below. 🤘

“We throw people away… and to our detriment.” My conversation with Kathleen Wynne, Ontario's 25th Premier, produced a number of memorable moments, but none more important than this one for me. I was formed in a tradition that called for radicality and subversiveness as a means to truth, love, and peace. What kind of criminal justice system do we want? This is an important question posed by Kathleen Wynne. It's time for us to rethink and reform our approach to justice, ensuring that no one is left behind. Let's work towards systems that embody compassion, rehabilitation, and restorative justice. #ontpoli #justicereform #leftbehind

So proud of my son Rory, who was one of fourteen out of over sixteen hundred kids chosen to present at the "Project Give Back" awards ceremony and fundraiser. Rory chose to highlight Stella's Place, a mental health youth hub in downtown Toronto. At just ten years old, Rory bravely shares his experiences with neurodiversity and mental health, redefining life with Tourette’s Syndrome and coming from a family that has faced mental health and addiction challenges. This morning, Rory showed me a personal handwritten note from Nzinga Walker, the Executive Director at Stella’s Place, who called him a superhero. He is indeed, and much more. #ProudDad #MentalHealth #Neurodiversity #TouretteSyndrome #YouthAdvocate #MentalHealthAwareness #ProjectGiveBack #Leadership #Community #Inspiration Ellen Schwartz

Roles are real, language matters, and transformational leadership requires discipline in both. By embracing these principles, we create environments where individuals can thrive and organizations can reach their full potential. #Leadership #Transformation #Empowerment

    • Dear managers: A company is not a family.

Parents owe kids unconditional love. Most companies only offer at-will employment.

A leader's job is not to show daily affection. It's to give people pay and purpose, support their success, and care about their well-being.
