Founded in 2007 by Toula Favreau, a Certified Interior Design Consultant, Acanthus Interiors specializes in residential design, with a focus on creating beautiful, highly individual interiors for its clients. The many years that Toula Favreau spent living in France greatly influenced her design sensibilities; she was fortunate to be surrounded by inspiring, creative people who shared their expertise and it is during this time that she developed a discerning eye for quality and craftsmanship. Spread some holiday cheer for a great cause!
Over the last 10 months I have helped organize a festive fundraiser, Homes For The Holidays. During this time, I have had the privilege of working closely with an amazing BC organization called Take a Hike Foundation. TAH’s mission is to empower vulnerable youth with the skills and resilience they need to graduate high school, build healthy relationships, navigate the challenges of young adulthood, and achieve success - however they define it. Every child needs access to a quality public education that gives them the opportunity to reach their full potential, but not everyone fits into the mainstream school system. Take a Hike partners with public school districts to engage vulnerable youth in a full-time mental health and emotional well-being program embedded in an alternate education classroom. Take a Hike is one of the few educational or outdoor programs in BC that has dedicated mental health services woven into their program.
