More BC Builds middle-income rental homes are coming to Penticton! BC Housing is partnering with the City of Penticton to build lower cost rental homes so the people who keep our communities working can find homes they can afford. All BC Builds units have a target of households with middle-incomes spending no more than approximately 30% of their income on rent. In addition, this project will include 20% of units with rents at least 20% below market rate. BC Builds has published a new Housing Development Opportunity calling for home builders and non-profit owners/operators to submit proposals for a site located on Eckhardt Avenue West, Penticton. The land is owned by the City of Penticton who are partnering with BC Builds on the project to bring much-needed rental housing to the community’s North Gateway neighborhood. Interested home builders are encouraged to visit the BC Builds Housing Opportunity website and submit their proposals before the deadline on December 5, 2024, at: https://lnkd.in/gAPf5TzQ
