Creative Truck Performance Ltd. is a growing company that started out primarily as a bulk fuel transportation company, hauling fuel mostly in and around Saskatchewan. "We are very motivated to get our hydrogen dual fuel truck working on the road to showcase the benefits on the equipment and maintenance procedures. This will help the industry get a better understanding of truck life cycles and other changes needed to incorporate hydrogen into a fleet and repair facility like ours. In the near future we will be looking to collaborate with hydrogen suppliers and storage options. Our truck will be apart of the AMTA trials very soon and we will be sharing the progress on our social media platforms." said owner, Evan Grant. CHA member Linde announced today it has signed a long-term agreement for the supply of clean hydrogen to Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero Project. The company will invest more than $2 billion to build, own and operate a world-scale integrated clean hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility in Alberta, Canada. Upon completion in 2028, Linde’s new complex in Alberta will be the largest clean hydrogen production facility in Canada, and one of the largest globally. Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA) member Linde has announced today it has signed a long-term agreement for the supply of clean hydrogen to Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero Project. The company will invest more than $2 billion to build, own and operate a world-scale integrated clean hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility in Alberta, Canada. Linde's new on-site complex will use autothermal reforming, combined with Linde's proprietary HISORP® carbon capture technology, to produce clean hydrogen and will also recover hydrogen contained in off-gases from Dow’s ethylene cracker. In the first phase, Linde will supply the clean hydrogen, nitrogen and other services to support Dow’s world-first net-zero emissions integrated ethylene cracker and derivatives site. Linde’s new facility will also supply clean hydrogen to existing and new industrial customers seeking to decarbonize their operations. BNP Paribas SA and CIBC are among banks that have committed to backing one of Germany’s largest hydrogen projects. Today, the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, announced a $9.14-million investment for six projects to support innovation in Canada’s clean hydrogen sector. Of this funding, $1.09 million was allocated to member Ayrton Energy in Alberta to assess the feasibility of safe, efficient and cost-effective storage and transportation of hydrogen in conventional tanks, trucks and pipelines at ambient temperature and pressure.
