It’s a big day for housing in Kelowna. The City has launched its new infill fast-track program to speed up development approvals and create more much-needed housing for our growing community. Over 1300 MF1-zoned lots are now eligible for ‘fast-track’ approvals with 4-6 units allowed per property. This means property owners and developers can see their complete permit applications processed within days - rather than months - when working with a pre-approved design. Over time, the program has the potential to deliver up to 7,000 new homes and help us meet the demand for more diverse and affordable housing options. Learn more at kelowna.ca/infill
