📖 💡 Every other week, we are giving a Lunch and Learn to our team. Those Lunch and Learns are prepared by our one team member to share knowledge with the rest of the company. 🔍 The last occurrence focussed on the #HSIT (Hardware Software Integration Testing) for OS verification. We addressed the two following engineering questions : - What are the things to consider when migrating from a VM test environment to on-target testing? - How to intercept system level calls for fault injection? What are the things to consider when migrating from a VM test environment to on-target testing? - Timing considerations and unexpected signals management - Higher setup time - Loss of communication with the target How to intercept system level calls for fault injection? - Identify the function's prototype and create your own implementation with an identical interface - Highlight the scenario requiring injection - Compile the intercept function as a shared library and inject it. 🌍 These sessions foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for critical embedded system within our team. Stay tuned for more insights from our upcoming Lunch and Learn events!

✅ We were part of the Canadian Advanced Air Mobility (CAAM) Consortium quarterly Advance Air Mobility (AAM) townhall last week ! 👏 Thanks to JR (张翰) Hammond for introducing the webinar, Adil Chaudhry from Transport Canada - Transports Canada, and Alan Chapman from NAV CANADA for introducing, highlighting, and deepening the discussion by reminding us of the purpose, but mainly the outstanding efforts our ecosystem is making to ensure AAM becomes a reality and a safe one! 💡 This webinar provided us an opportunity to tackle important topics with brilliant illustrations: - All certification authorities are working together to harmonize their expectations. - It is estimated that 50% of the certification basis for AAM already exists in the airworthiness manuals. - NAV Canada will provide a set of centralized capabilities delivered by the RPAS Flight Information Management System. All efforts and strategic advancements made in RPAS will provide a significant base of knowledge for the future of AAM. ✈ CS GROUP - Canada remains ready to adapt its capacity and skills for the future and is committed to bringing knowledge and expertise to create new documentation for airworthiness manuals.
