Kinetrol high cycle actuators - 24,814,080 operations and counting! I just visited a flour mill in Alberta that used Kinetrol actuators on their batch scale for weighing the flour. The actuators cycle 6 times a minute (12 operations), 24/7, 359 days a year. Since these actuators were installed in September 2020, they have done over 24.8 million operations. That’s not the impressive part of this story. These actuators replaced Kinetrol’s that had been in service since the plant was built in 1997. According to my calculations that’s over 140 million cycles. I would think that would be the highest cycle life of any Kinetrol actuator. Ignoring the original installation, the verifiable 24,814,080 operations in 4 years is very impressive. I will be following up and updating this every year!

Need ball valves that work overtime? 15 years ago, a customer asked for 3-WAY HIGH CYCLE automated ball valves. Media would enter from the bottom and exit from the left or right side ports. Our solution: S-Class 3-way Diverter Valves with balls treated for superior WEAR RESISTANCE and UHMWPE seats. We mounted them with Kinetrol actuators which are known for their longevity and maintenance-free life. As a result, the customer's plant had less unplanned downtime.
