It was a fantastic opportunity for project stakeholders and funders to come together and to discuss future support and collaboration. As we have seen a lot of new followers lately (👋welcome, all!) we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves.   Established in 2008, Partners in Project Green is a dynamic partnership between Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and Greater Toronto Airports Authority (Toronto Pearson). Our mission: to empower a community of leaders to drive social innovation, climate action and economic prosperity across the GTA.   It all started with the Pearson Eco-Business Zone, leveraging the airport as an economic hub to foster sustainable business practices. Since then, Toronto Pearson has been pivotal in our journey, driving action in Energy Performance, Water Stewardship, Waste Management, and Engagement.   Today, PPG boasts 73 members and has engaged with hundreds of business leaders. In 2023 alone, we hosted 34 events, offset 760 tonnes of greenhouse gas, diverted 59.1 tonnes of waste from landfill, and saved 44.3 million liters of water. None of this would be possible without the efforts of our PPG community.   💚PPG is grateful for all the years of support from dedicated members.
