Message From the IPEIA 2024/2025 Chairs On behalf of the 2024/25 Steering Committee, we want to thank you for your support, participation, and interest in our ever-evolving industry of Pressure Equipment Integrity. Following the devastating wildfires that impacted Jasper and the surrounding areas on July 24, 2024, the IPEIA Executive and Steering Committee have developed a Risk Mitigation plan using the lessons learned from the COVID-19 years to mitigate the affects on our association members. The plan is continually updated based on the information we receive. Jasper Park Lodge, which hosts our conference and many of our attendees, has confirmed that most of its structures were spared from the wildfire, which is great news! We will inform our membership of updates as more information becomes available. In addition to our regular operations and planning for the upcoming 2025 Conference & Exhibition and Webinar Series, an innovation resulting from unexpected necessity providing great value to our members, IPEIA has been diligently working on a strategic plan for the association that acknowledges IPEIA’s original ideals and commitment to industry. Since February 2024, we have developed a new strategic plan and have begun executing the first strategic objective: developing a new operating model for the association. We are on track to roll out the strategic plan and operating model to the IPEIA membership in fall/winter 2024/2025. These courses aim to equip professionals with the latest insights, best practices, and practical skills needed to ensure the safe operation of pressure equipment.
