    Success with online courses is all about results. A major piece of this is getting clear on the outcomes you want your students to achieve at each step along the way. The earlier you're able to do this in the creation process, the better. Once you know your outcomes, you can much more effectively design your content around them. This is true at the 'overall course', 'module', and 'lesson' levels: --> If the content doesn't serve the outcomes of that section, it belongs somewhere else. (Often outside the course completely.) Not only does this 'outcomes-first' approach prevent 'fluff' from sneaking in and slowing your course students down, but..     Overcoming objections isn't only important when SELLING your courses and coaching programs.. Your material must also address and overcome the objections your customers face AS THEY PROGRESS THROUGH IT. If you notice your coaching clients or course students hitting a wall - or deciding to do things 'their own way' - it might be because they don't fully understand why they should follow your guidance.. To maximize customer success, you need to continuously persuade them to take the correct action.     A free mini-course can be a great lead magnet for your coaching business.. But it can go ONE of TWO ways after prospective clients sign up: Scenario 1) They have a positive experience that makes them want to take the next step with you. Scenario 2) They have a negative experience that actually puts them off from working with you.
