Language Exchange Initiative (LEI)

U of T Language Exchange Initiative We are a student-run group dedicated to the exchange of language and culture between students! We focus on the exchange of Mandarin and English, while simultaneously facilitating our members' exchange of all languages of the world! This year: We've had many people sign up who all speak a wealth of languages to bring to the meetings, and we're hoping to connect you all and get to know you all a lot better! Stay tuned for more information! Meetings: Every week (time will be posted) an exchange takes place which contains a lesson, reading, discussion, or presentation given by the appointed vice-presidents. We encourage those studying languages at UofT, international students, our any interested UofT students, alumni, or staff to join in on our weekly exchanges (we are open to non-UofT members!). Please email for location of weekly meetings! Our aim: For our group members to acquire another language and culture during each exchange by creating a friendly, relaxed environment where we can all become good friends! The discovery of language and culture comes with the territory!
