Be safe out there with this air quality. Know the health risks and work accordingly
As #Alberta deals with poor air quality, we encourage our #ABconstruction workers to be aware of potential health risks while working outside. Smoke can carry particulate matter and chemicals that can irritate your eyes, cause coughing, or make breathing difficult. Consider these actions when planning outdoor work: - Reschedule work until the smoke clears. - Take breaks in locations with clean air. - Use respiratory protection equipment (RPE). Town of Jasper: We're thinking of you. ❤️ For more information, see these resources from the Government of Alberta: https://lnkd.in/gQnSh22P

Great to see industry and all these employers taking part in the career fair.
MHCA visited the Skilled Trades, Tech, Agriculture & Health Career Fair at Medicine Hat College. Hosted by Careers SE Alberta, it was great to see so many businesses and prospective employers. Medicine Hat needs these employers to be successful and to achieve that they need young persons to join the trades. Keep up the good work everyone.
