Enduring Earth's First Annual Gathering: A Milestone for Durable Conservation Finance! 🌍
Over the past two days, we had the privilege of hosting Enduring Earth's inaugural gathering, bringing together more than 80 dedicated practitioners, Indigenous partners, local leaders, and technical experts from 13 countries across the globe: Belize, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Madagascar, Mexico, Mongolia, Namibia, Paraguay, Peru, and the U.S.
The group came together through panels, breakouts, and workshops to explore the design and implementation of the Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) model – to deliver durable funding for long-term conservation and community prosperity.
Key discussions revolved around:
🔹 20 years of PFP evolution
🔹 Designing PFP for long-term impact
🔹 People-centered design
🔹 Integrated sustainable finance mechanisms for lasting change
Thank you to our project partners for sharing their valuable insights and leading the charge in shaping conservation that endures, and to the World Wildlife Fund team for generously hosting the 2-day meeting.
