Longan Vision is ready to support groups looking for those types of solutions. Longan Vision Corp. develops advanced technology to fit the needs of people working in dangerous environments. Specifically, they are designing an AR headset to help firefighters and first respnders see in the dark and smoke environment. Based at McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton, Longan Vision is a provider of design and sales of enhanced vision and communication devices. Where Next? 🚘🔋 As the demand for electric vehicles grows, the need for smarter charging and grid integration becomes critical. OVIN’s R&D Partnership Fund – Advanced Charging and V2G Program is addressing this demand by supporting Ontario businesses in developing the infrastructure and technologies necessary for the future of electrification.
 This program fuels innovation in areas such as vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems, enabling electric vehicles to communicate with the power grid—allowing them to not only charge, but also return energy when needed. From testing to full-scale deployment, projects under this fund are helping Ontario lead the charge toward new solutions that reduce energy demand, increase grid efficiency, and enhance the overall EV experience for drivers.
