What a blast! We had a fantastic weekend at our Step 'n Stride events, joined by all of our #Unshakeable community! Over 1,300 participants came out for a day filled with fun as we walked distances of 1km, 3km, and even 5km. We enjoyed a delicious lunch thanks to our generous sponsors and connected with one another to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease. This weekend, we raised a remarkable total of $390,000! What an outstanding achievement for our community. But the excitement isn't over yet! We have one final Step 'n Stride event happening in Yellowknife this Saturday, September 14th, at Somba K’e Park. Our community never ceases to amaze us! Corbin Delano and his brother Blake organized a lemonade stand last month, and raised $365 - in support of their Grandma, whom they love very much, and who is actively living with PD. Corbin, Blake and the family dropped in to deliver the donation, and also shared their huge hearts and smiles with us. It is because of the incredible generosity of our entire community, that we can continue delivering the important programs, supports and resources that those living with, and loving someone with PD rely on. Thank you Corbin!
