From September 30-October 6, five of the PGA of Canada's finest talents (Emma de Groot, Katy Rutherford, Caroline Ciot, Christine Wong and Casey Ward) will head to Oregon for the Women's PGA Cup, hosted by PGA of America. In 2022, Canada placed in second, out of six teams, behind the United States. With experience on their side, Canada's primed and ready to bring the championship home. A toast to Yohann Benson after he won the PGA Championship of Canada at Mickelson National. He brought the bottle of champagne Miles Mortensen gave him back to share with the championships staff, knowing what goes into running an elite event. Champs staff Matthew Mueller and Ryan Nelson were grinding from 4-11 each day. 4 AM to 11 PM! Thanks to them, and the elite partners Jeff Dykeman brought on board, the 2024 PGA Championship of Canada was one of the best events I’ve had the opportunity to be involved with. As far as the content team goes, that was some of the most fun I’ve had at an event - and the results came with it - over 1-million impressions across social media and a couple thousand new Instagram followers on the PGA of Canada channel. I truly feel like this team, Jeff Curlew and Kody and Casey from Fourth Frame Films, know how to tell the story of a championship that doesn’t have a live broadcast better than anyone. Grinding on the post-round story and video recap at 1 AM doesn’t feel like work with this crew PGA of Canada
