ProShop - The Machine Shop OS. ERP, MES, QMS, CMMS, LMS and lots of other good acronyms!
About us
ProShop is a proprietary ERP, MES and QMS software package that was developed over 17 years while the owners were growing Pro CNC Inc., one of the largest machine job shops in the Pacific Northwest, culminating in a successful sale of the company in 2014. ProShop was born from the need to manage and understand the complex needs of manufacturing companies. It was designed by machinists, inspectors, CNC programmers, general managers, tooling crib staff, purchasing agents, quality managers, machine operators, ISO/AS quality system managers, customer service agents, CEO, sales managers, estimators, assemblers, CFO, receiving clerks, and everyone else that is critical to the smooth flowing operation of a manufacturing company. Never before has there been an ERP/MES/QMS solution that was born and bred as deeply integrated into the DNA of manufacturing companies as ProShop. Now focused exclusively on developing software solutions for the small to medium sized manufacturing company sector, the original founders of Pro CNC are bringing a revolutionary approach to the software needed to run a manufacturing company. Let's face it, traditional ERP software sucks! Even ERP systems that were supposedly designed for manufacturing companies still do a very poor job of it, requiring lots of other unrelated software and systems to run your manufacturing company. Whether you have a machine shop, fabrication, dedicated products, composites, or any other type of discrete manufacturing company, ProShop will redefine and set a new bar for manufacturing software and completely change the way you think about your business and the software to run it most efficiently and profitably. Increases in throughput of 25% are not uncommon. Along with increased on-time delivery of 15-25% or more. It’s genuinely possible with the right software solution to run your shop. Give us a call to chat about your shop’s needs.

Today's #TestimonialTuesday is from our good friend, Chad Vanderbeek, President at Hibshman Screw Machine Products. "We passed our recertification audit with flying colors and zero findings! I thought this graph here was a great example showing the significant role #ProShop has had on taking Hibshman to the next level with our ISO audits over the last two years. We went from just meeting the intent in 2021 and 2022 (before ProShop), to upping our game a little bit in 2023 when we went live with ProShop. Now I’m asking questions on how we can be at the Benchmark level!" A special thank you to our QMS Implementation Specialist, Kelly Sairls for her support throughout their journey. 🙌 Are you ready to up your shops game? Why do machines sit idle? 🤔 Reason 2 - because there's no cutting tools! Employees often waste time searching for tools, causing machines to sit idle. ProShop's Tooling module catalogs and inventories tools, linking them to part routing. This ensures the correct tools are always available. When a work order is generated, tool demand is sent to the purchasing system with accurate dates, so tools are ready when needed. This reduces setup time and increases part production. Why do machines sit idle? 🤔 Reason 1 - because there's no material! #ProShop reduces waste and maximizes machine uptime by automating material procurement for specific build scenarios. Unlike most ERPs, it ensures the right materials are available on time, even with hundreds of work orders. This keeps your machines running efficiently, producing parts without unnecessary delays. There are really two main categories of downtime that reduce a shop’s ability to actively cut metal: Having machines sit totally idle, and long set-up times where the machine isn’t actively running. While #ProShop has many of the traditional ERP functions you’d expect, it also has a vast number of functions that would be better classified under the terms Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or Quality Management System (QMS) as opposed to general ERP functions. These are the features and functions whereby ProShop can significantly contribute to the value-added processes – aka cutting the metal. (I love that specific focus from the person asking!) But why does ProShop even have those features in the first place? 🤔 Read our latest blog post written by Paul Van Metre and David Vuyk out now! ⬇ https://lnkd.in/gvik5W3t #ProShopERP #PoweredByProShop #LoveYourERP #QMS #MES
